The Ledger collects an email address when you subscribe, and whatever you choose to add on the subscribe and tip forms. That information is used to send you the newsletter and to answer you. It is not sold, rented or shared with sponsors or anyone else.

Unsubscribe with the link at the bottom of any edition, or email editor@aledoledger.com. Subscriber records are deleted on request.

The site does not use advertising trackers. It loads fonts from Google Fonts and reads weather data from the National Weather Service; those requests are made by your browser directly to those services. Forms are processed by Netlify, the site's host. Newsletter delivery will be handled by the email platform named at the bottom of each edition once it is connected.
