The Ledger collects an email address when you subscribe, and whatever you choose to add on the subscribe and tip forms. That information is used to send you the newsletter and to answer you. It is not sold, rented or shared with sponsors or anyone else.

Unsubscribe with the link at the bottom of any edition, or email editor@aledoledger.com. Subscriber records are deleted on request.

The site does not use advertising trackers. It loads fonts from Google Fonts and reads weather data from the National Weather Service; those requests are made by your browser directly to those services. Forms are processed by Netlify, the site's host. Newsletter delivery will be handled by the email platform named at the bottom of each edition once it is connected.

The relocation planner runs in your browser. Your answers are not sent anywhere unless you tick the box that includes them with a question, and a link to a plan holds the answers and nothing else. A question sent through the planner, a listing application or a request for local help is read by a person and used only to reply or to do what the form says; nothing is passed to a business or a professional unless you ticked a box that says so, naming who receives it.

The site runs no analytics script.
