The Nov. 3 election

Parker County

Results will post here after polls close at 7 p.m. on Nov. 3. Until then this page carries the dates, what is on the ballot, and where to vote.

Dates

Voter registration deadline for the Nov. 3 election
Postmark or receipt by the Parker County voter registrar. Confirm your status at VoteTexas.gov.
Early voting begins
In-person early voting runs Monday, Oct. 19, through Friday, Oct. 30, at any early-voting site in your county of registration.
Last day to apply for a ballot by mail
Applications must be received by the county's early-voting clerk.
Election Day: general election
Governor and other statewide offices, all U.S. House seats on the newly drawn map, one U.S. Senate seat, state legislature, county offices and any local propositions. Polls are open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
May 2027 local elections
City council and school board seats; the candidate filing window typically opens in mid-January.

What is on the ballot

Statewide: governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general, comptroller, land commissioner, agriculture commissioner, railroad commissioner and seats on the state's high courts, plus one U.S. Senate seat. Every U.S. House seat is on the ballot under the congressional map adopted in 2025; check your district, since some Parker County voters were moved. Texas House seats and the state Senate seats up this cycle are on the ballot as well.

County: in gubernatorial election years Texas counties elect the county judge, district clerk, county clerk and county treasurer, the commissioners for precincts 2 and 4, and justices of the peace and constables. Any local propositions from cities, the school district or special districts would appear at the bottom of the ballot. The Ledger will post the Parker County sample ballot here when the county publishes it.
