Register to vote by Monday, Oct. 5.
Early voting Monday, Oct. 19, through Friday, Oct. 30.
Apply for a mail ballot by Friday, Oct. 23 (received, not postmarked).
Election Day Tuesday, Nov. 3, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.; mail ballots must arrive by 7 p.m., or by 5 p.m. Nov. 4 if postmarked by 7 p.m. Nov. 3.

What to bring

Texas requires an acceptable photo ID at the polls; the Secretary of State's list of accepted IDs and the exception form are at votetexas.gov. Check your registration at the same site.

What's on the ballot

Willow Park voters: Proposition A, adopting a proposed Home Rule Charter, and Proposition B, $10,110,000 in certificates of obligation for water, sewer, street and drainage projects. Everyone: statewide and county offices. The Ledger's election page carries the county's posted ballot when it is certified, the record on local questions, and results on election night, unofficial until canvassed: aledoledger.com/elections/2026. Aledo's own city and school seats are elected in May; the next is May 1, 2027.
