What to bring
Texas requires an acceptable photo ID at the polls; the Secretary of State's list of accepted IDs and the exception form are at votetexas.gov. Check your registration at the same site.
What's on the ballot
Statewide and county offices and any propositions certified for Parker County. The Ledger's election page carries the county's posted ballot when it is certified, the record on local questions, and results on election night, unofficial until canvassed: aledoledger.com/elections/2026. Aledo's own city and school seats are elected in May; the next is May 1, 2027.
