Jobs with the city, the district and the county

Checked against the source Sunday, September 6, 2026

The city lists openings on its careers page, the district takes applications through its Search Jobs and Apply page, and the county posts on parkercountytx.gov/jobs. What each employer's page says about applying and benefits, checked Sept. 6, 2026.

City of Aledo

Current openings are on the city's careers page, which describes the city as an equal opportunity employer with a drug-free and alcohol-free workplace. The police department has its own recruiting page.

Aledo ISD

The district's careers page links to its job search and application. It lists medical, vision and dental coverage, retirement through the Teacher Retirement System of Texas, discounted staff-only childcare at the district's Child Development Center from six months of age, enrollment of employees' children in Aledo ISD schools regardless of where they live, and 20 professional learning and work days a year. Substitute and student-teaching pages are separate.

Parker County

County openings are posted on the county's jobs page, linked from every county page as County Jobs.

Also

  • The Ledger publishes no pay figures here; each posting states its own.
  • Contract and vendor opportunities with the county run through its Bonfire purchasing portal, linked from the county's purchasing page.
