Tickets

Varsity home games are ticketed through HomeTown Ticketing, linked from the district's tickets page. Per the district's stadium page, student athletic passes are no longer valid for varsity home football games and every student must purchase a ticket; there are no in-and-out privileges, and re-entry requires a new ticket.

The clear-bag policy

Aledo ISD has a clear-bag policy for varsity football games at Tim Buchanan Stadium. Permitted, per the district: clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bags no larger than 12 by 6 by 12 inches; a one-gallon clear plastic freezer bag; a small clutch about the size of a hand, 4.5 by 6.5 inches, with or without a strap; diaper bags with an infant or small child; simple seat cushions without pockets, zippers, compartments or covers; binoculars, phones and cameras carried in without a bag; exceptions for medically necessary items. Prohibited: purses, small clutches larger than the allowed size, coolers, backpacks, fanny packs, cinch bags, computer bags, camera bags and any bag over the size limit.

Food, drink and seating

No outside food or drink, including water and sports-drink bottles, insulated cups, fast-food cups or coffee cups; anything brought to the gate goes back to the car or in the trash, per the district. Middle school students not sitting with their parents sit in the east end zone bleachers. Concessions and booster merchandise are sold inside the stadium.

Tailgating: Bearcat Alley

Bearcat Alley is the only designated tailgating area, in the bus loop south of the stadium and east of the main gym entrance. It opens at 4:30 p.m. for a 7 p.m. kickoff. Reserved spots are $200 a game through the HomeTown Ticketing app and go on sale at 8 a.m. on the Friday a week before each home game; a reservation includes a 10-by-10 tent, a reserved parking space nearby, trash cans and a fire extinguisher. No food, drink or merchandise sales from a tailgate spot; a caterer may bring food, per the district's tailgating page.
