Shane Davis. The city's page says he was elected mayor of the City of Aledo in May 2025; before that he served on the council in Place 1 beginning May 1, 2021, was re-elected to a second term in May 2023, and was mayor pro tem from May 26, 2022, to July 27, 2023. He served on the Aledo Parks & Recreation Board from February 2019 to May 2021. The page describes him as the owner of The Aledo Athletic Club, going on 14 years, after 27 years as a professional chef, and says he and his family are longtime Aledo residents.
