Wine
A monthly column on what to drink, from a writer who is not selling it. A merchant may not write it; a merchant may sponsor the page under the rules, with no say in what it says.
Land, ranch and garden
Parker County is horse and cattle country with a growing town in it. A column on land, water, livestock, wildfire, the burn ban, the county extension office's programs and what the growing season is doing, from a writer who works the land or advises those who do; the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension office and the 4-H program are invited to contribute.
Around town
The social column: the festivals, the gala, the fundraisers, the openings, the season's games, told by someone who was there, with the names of people who agreed to be named and photographs they consented to.
The rules, in one paragraph
Columnists are named, paid by the piece, and read by the publisher before they run. They may not write about their own business, family or organization. Minors are named only as their school or parents already have in public. A column is opinion and is labeled so; corrections run at the top. The standards page governs.
