The record

1

Bankhead Highway: concrete pours this week, no closures expected

The City of Willow Park's Oct. 27 update says crews will pour concrete at sites along Willow Crossing East this week and are aiming to begin pouring along portions of Bankhead Highway between Hewitt Lane and Broadway Boulevard later this week. Flaggers will direct traffic in active work areas. The city says rain in the forecast could push the Bankhead work to next week, and it now labels the Oct. 13-14 closure notice historical. BlueSky Utilities began the utility project in July; it runs from the southwest corner of the Beall-Dean development to Ranch House Road and, per the city, will take at least a year.

What you can do. Businesses on Bankhead with access problems can call Willow Park City Hall, the city says.
