Friday: Aledo's Economic Development Corporation posts its Nov. 10 agenda, and the Bearcats host Senior Night

Why it matters. The EDC agenda went up Thursday afternoon. It has a business incentive application, a marketing RFQ, and closed-session economic-development items that name Downtown Development and Dean Ranch. Tonight the Bearcats host Arlington Lamar for Senior/Parent Night.

129

Texas counties under a burn ban, down from 133 a day earlier. Parker is still on the list. More

Aledo EDC posts Nov. 10 agenda: Williams Trew ACE application, marketing RFQ, Dean Ranch in closed session

The Aledo Economic Development Corporation meets at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10, at the Aledo Municipal Complex, 200 Old Annetta Road. The agenda, posted Thursday, Nov. 5, at 1:10 p.m., includes approving the July 28, 2026, regular meeting minutes; considering cancellation of the Dec. 22, 2026, regular AEDC meeting; considering approval of the "Williams Trew ACE Application"; and discussing a "Marketing RFQ." Under executive session, the board lists Texas Government Code Section 551.087 (economic development negotiations) items titled "Downtown Development" and "Dean Ranch." Board and staff comments also list "Christmas Tyme in Aledo." No packet file is published yet, only the agenda. Dean Ranch appears here as an economic-development negotiation item, not a lawsuit filing.

What you can do. The meeting is open for board and staff comments; closed-session items are economic-development negotiations under §551.087.

The watched record, Friday morning

Outside the items above, nothing new was filed overnight on the open record. Aledo's Nov. 5 City Council meeting still shows only the Oct. 30 agenda and packet (files 3302 and 3303); no minutes or updated files are up yet. The Planning and Zoning Commission (Nov. 12) still has no published agenda files. Annetta North's Nov. 10 agenda (26-11.pdf) is unchanged. Election counts are unchanged from election night (Clarity version 385028): Willow Park Prop A (Home Rule Charter) still trails 914 to 1,770 unofficial, and Prop B ($10.11 million COs) still trails 1,359 to 1,487 unofficial; late and provisional ballots are added Nov. 10. County Documents 14423 and 14424 are still scanned images with no text layer. Willow Park's Bankhead Highway update is still the Nov. 3 one: sewer work between Hewitt Lane and Broadway Boulevard, flaggers and no closures. Aledo's news list and alerts page, Parker County's news-flash feed and agenda center, Aledo ISD's news and BoardBook, Willow Park's meetings portal, Hudson Oaks' TownCloud page, and the Annetta and Annetta South sites haven't changed in substance. The Community News feed overnight carried Aledo sports award stories. The state's mixed-beverage permit data shows no new Parker County permits. The National Weather Service has no watches, warnings or advisories for Aledo this morning.
