Ross Fire reaches 83% containment in InciWeb's Sept. 12 update; Parker County stays under a burn ban, one of 209 counties

The Sept. 11 update, posted at 11:15 a.m. Friday, listed 76%; the Sept. 8 update listed 57%.
The Sept. 12 update says firefighters increased containment the day before as they completed a firing operation and continued mop-up, that crews are conducting continuous patrols along the established containment line, and that air resources are working with ground crews on flare-ups. The update says Texas A&M Forest Service is in unified command with local departments.
