School board adopts the superintendent profile from community meetings and surveys, adding the word proactive

The vote was 6-0. Trustees asked about aptitude tests, interview length and getting the questions early.

The Aledo ISD Board of Trustees met in special session April 4, 2013, with six trustees present. Craig Stockstill of TASB's Executive Search Services presented the leadership qualifications and characteristics compiled from community meetings and online surveys. On a motion by Dr. David Tillman seconded by Hoyt Harris, the board approved the profile with the word proactive added to the statement of a person of integrity, vision and visibility, 6-0. Trustees asked about aptitude testing, whether ninety-minute interviews were long enough, and receiving the interview questions before the April 23 meeting. The meeting adjourned at 6:52 p.m.
