School board selects six superintendent applicants and an alternate to interview
The vote was 7-0 after three hours in closed session; each trustee chose three interview questions.
The Aledo ISD Board of Trustees met in special session April 23, 2013, with all seven trustees present once Johnny Campbell and Dr. David Tillman arrived. Marian Strauss and Butch Felkner of TASB's Executive Search Services discussed the search process. After an executive session on personnel from 6:15 to 9:26 p.m., the board approved six applicants and one alternate to be interviewed for superintendent, 7-0, and each trustee selected three questions from Strauss's samples to ask every applicant. The meeting adjourned at 9:26 p.m.
