Aledo ISD Board Room, 1008 Bailey Ranch Road
Trustees weigh the debt service rate against area districts and decide to publish the appraisal district's maximum calculated rate
A letter to the community was to be drafted with two trustees' input. No action was taken.
The Aledo ISD Board of Trustees met in special session Aug. 5, 2013, with all seven trustees present once Dr. David Tillman, David Davis and Hoyt Harris arrived. Chief Financial Officer Earl Husfeld continued the July 22 discussion of the debt service fund and the interest and sinking rate and compared area districts' rates. The board decided to post a newspaper notice of the maximum calculated interest and sinking rate from the Parker County Appraisal District, and Superintendent Derek Citty was to draft a community letter with input from Bobby J. Rigues and Davis. The meeting adjourned at 7:29 p.m.
