The Aledo ISD Board of Trustees met in special session Jan. 4, 2018, at 6:09 p.m. with President Jay Stringer, Vice President Hoyt Harris, Secretary Jennifer Loftin and Trustees Bobby J. Rigues and Julie Turner present; Dr. David Tillman arrived at 6:23 p.m. Dr. Jenny Preston of Jenny Preston Educational Consulting presented a timeline for hiring a new superintendent and the process for building a candidate profile. Trustees received packets to complete by the Jan. 22 regular meeting; community and district forums led by Preston were to be scheduled over two days in January, with the profile paperwork also posted on the district website for those unable to attend. The provisional timeline was finalized with room for changes, and the meeting adjourned at 7:24 p.m.
