Six trustees deny a parents' Level III grievance and uphold the administration's Level II decision

The vote was 6-0 after a closed session of nearly two hours. The minutes do not describe the complaint, and the Ledger does not characterize it.

The Aledo ISD Board of Trustees met in special session June 1, 2018, at 8:32 a.m. with all seven trustees present. The board went into closed session at 8:33 a.m. to hear a parents' Level III grievance under policy FNG(Local), a complaint against a district employee involving personally identifiable student information; Vice President Jennifer Loftin left at 8:50 a.m. The board returned to open session at 10:59 a.m. and voted 6-0, on a motion by Bobby J. Rigues seconded by Julie Turner, to deny the grievance and uphold the administration's decision at Level II. The meeting adjourned at 11:05 a.m.
