FM 1187 widening and design

Where it stands. In design. TxDOT and Parker County signed the funding agreement for FM 5 to Aledo Iona Road in October 2025, the county amended the Freese & Nichols design contract in February 2026, and the Aledo council approved its $932,729 Freese and Nichols design contract for utility relocations on Sept. 3, 2026 by unanimous vote, per the draft minutes in the Sept. 17 packet; the memo puts construction of the FM 1187 utilities at an estimated $5,310,000.
