School board orders the first buses under the 2015 bond and names Zach Tarrant principal of McAnally Intermediate
A Vandagriff assistant principal was also approved; the July minutes corrected that vote to 5-0.
The Aledo ISD Board of Trustees met in special session June 3, 2015, at 8:30 a.m. with all seven trustees present once Hoyt Harris and Dr. David Tillman arrived. The board approved the Stage I bus order under the 2015 bond, 7-0. After an executive session on personnel and real property from 8:44 to 9:43 a.m., with Tillman and Harris no longer present, it approved Heather Street as assistant principal of Vandagriff Elementary, a vote the board later corrected to 5-0, and Zach Tarrant as principal of McAnally Intermediate School, 5-0. The board agreed to invite Johnny Campbell to take part in graduation, and the meeting adjourned at 9:46 a.m.
