Templeton Demographics presents the fall 2015 report and hypothetical boundaries for Elementary No. 5, and the architect asks for a site decision by Nov. 1
The demographer said a data mismatch in the report would be corrected and reposted. No action was taken.
The Aledo ISD Board of Trustees met in special session Oct. 5, 2015, with all seven trustees present once David Davis arrived. Rocky Gardiner of Templeton Demographics presented the fall 2015 demographic report and hypothetical boundary options for Elementary No. 5, and said a mismatch between the current elementary data and the ten-year forecast would be corrected and the updated report posted on the district's site. Leesa Vardeman of VLK Architects discussed what an elementary site needs and said a location decision was needed by Nov. 1, 2015, to allow studies and permits. After an executive session on real property from 7:27 to 7:55 p.m. with no action, Superintendent Derek Citty announced an additional workshop Oct. 19, and the meeting adjourned at 7:57 p.m.
