The Aledo ISD Board of Trustees met in special session June 9, 2016, at 6:18 p.m. with six trustees present. After an executive session from 6:19 to 6:58 p.m., the board approved Mandy Musselwhite as principal of Aledo Middle School, 6-0, and the purchase of dry erase boards including installation, 6-0. President Jay Stringer then led trustees in developing board goals in five areas: communication and advocacy; growth; curriculum and House Bill 5; budget; and Team of Eight, superintendent evaluation and framework, with goal statements to follow for review. The meeting adjourned at 8:36 p.m.
