No action was taken. The board met with its attorney twice, the second time for two and a half hours.
The Aledo ISD Board of Trustees met in special session June 13, 2017, with all seven trustees present. After a closed session with the school attorney from 6:06 to 6:36 p.m., eight residents spoke during public comment: six about the resignation of McCall Elementary's principal, one about standardized testing and one about the review of education professionals. Dale Latham of the Region 11 Education Service Center reviewed the T-PESS principal evaluation process and answered trustees' questions. The board met in executive session with its attorney and on personnel from 7:28 to 10 p.m., took no action and adjourned at 10:01 p.m.
