Aledo Council Chambers, 200 Old Annetta Road

In a three-minute special meeting, council backs the Parker County judge as the area's Regional Transportation Council representative

An executive session item on 2 Dean Drive was pulled from the agenda.

The Aledo City Council met in special session June 25, 2026, at 5 p.m. at 200 Old Annetta Road with Mayor Shane Davis and Councilmembers Todd Covington, Summer Jones and Melanie Allen present and Councilmembers Ben Clark and Matthew Poston absent. No one came forward during citizen appearances.

The council unanimously approved Resolution No. 2026-R-12 supporting the appointment of the Parker County judge as primary representative and the Wise County judge as alternate for the Parker/Wise County cluster on the Regional Transportation Council. A posted executive session item on 2 Dean Drive was removed from the agenda with no action, and the meeting adjourned at 5:03 p.m.
