Commissioners Court renews the county's Aledo library contract at $22,770

East Parker County items from the March 23, 2026, regular session.

The Parker County Commissioners Court met in regular session March 23, 2026, at the courthouse in Weatherford. On the east Parker County items, the court voted, on a motion by Commissioner Hale seconded by Commissioner Conley, to approve a continuation contract with the City of Aledo for the library in the amount of $22,770. The motion carried.

The court's other business that day, including a lease non-renewal letter, an indigent disposition order and department reports, is outside the Ledger's footprint and is not reported here. No items were heard under Precinct 4 plats.

How this was sourced: Primary documents: the county clerk's minutes of the March 23, 2026 session, a scanned PDF the Ledger converted to text by OCR, and the posted agenda. Only items concerning east Parker County are reported; the court's other business is omitted by design. Every vote, figure and name above appears in the minutes; where the OCR text is unclear the entry says so. The Ledger did not review a recording. Written Sept. 5, 2026, for the archive.
