Aledo ISD named a CTE District of Distinction for the second straight year
Eighty-six percent of high schoolers took at least one career and technical course last year, and more than 250 interned with local businesses.
The Career and Technical Association of Texas has again named Aledo ISD a CTE District of Distinction. In 2024-25, 2,015 students, 86% of those in grades 9-12, were enrolled in at least one career and technical course, and more than 250 high school students held internships with more than 60 local businesses. The district offers 77 CTE courses in grades 7-12, and Aledo High students earned 492 industry certifications in 2023-24.
Separately, Moritz Dealerships announced a leadership gift for new digital scoreboards in the 25-year-old Aledo High School gymnasium.
