As called on 92.1 Hank FM by Kevin Lonnquist and Kyle Hix, from Pennington Field in Bedford, where lightning delayed the start about an hour: Aledo's second play of the game was an interception of Tre Williams that gave Trinity a first down at the Aledo 28, and the defense answered with a fourth-down stop. From there the crew's account is of a team that owned the game: a 22-yard touchdown pass from Williams to Kane Lanier on third-and-8 with 6:50 left in the first quarter, which the broadcast noted was Aledo's first lead of the season; a missed 45-yard Trinity field goal; and a 29-yard Hudson Parks field goal with 3:29 left in the quarter, his first make of the year, after a personal foul on Trinity moved the ball 14 yards.

In the second quarter Wyatt Dorsey took a Wildcat snap, waited for the hole at the five and dived in for a 10-yard touchdown, his second of the season, finishing a 72-yard drive that took 3:36; the crew credited the line up front. After the defense stopped Trinity on fourth down at the Trinity 46, with the night's first sack by Max Forman, Williams floated a 29-yard touchdown pass over two defenders to Lanier with about a minute and a half left in the half, Lanier's first scoring catch of the season. Aledo had not punted in the first half and was 4 of 6 on third down, per the broadcast; at halftime Williams was 10 of 15 with one interception and two touchdowns, and the halftime segment carried Mercedes Myer's interview with head coach Robby Jones.

The third quarter opened with a 48-yard punt-return touchdown by Cooper Hull wiped out by a holding call, the second special-teams score the crew said Aledo had lost to a flag in two weeks. Williams answered with a 10-yard touchdown pass to Colby Thompson with 8:02 left in the quarter, Thompson's first of the year, for 31-0; Jordan Hall then intercepted a pass at the Trinity 45, his second interception of the season. Backup quarterback Elijah Pinnick's only throw was intercepted, and a 55-yard Aledo punt was downed inside the 1. In the fourth quarter a Williams pass intended for Maddox Nurse was intercepted and returned inside the 20, and Trinity's only score followed, an 8-yard pass from Mac Lineweaver to tight end Brendan Cary on an 11-play, 60-yard drive, with Elijah Mangrum shaken up on the play and walking off on his own. The crew's postgame numbers: Trinity 131 yards of total offense, Aledo 6 of 8 on third down, two Aledo punts averaging 55 yards, Trinity sacked twice for 29 yards, three Aledo interceptions against one. The broadcast noted a good contingent of Aledo fans in the stands from east Parker County, and closed with the district scores: Weatherford 31, Paschal 18; Lamar 33, Northwest 15; Bowie 21, Haltom 12; Martin 38, Crowley 21; Sam Houston 62, Cleburne 0.
