The Aledo ISD Board of Trustees met Oct. 18, 2010, with President Joe Dearing Jr., Vice President Bobby Rigues, Jay Stringer, David Davis and Steve Bartley present. Coder Elementary's student council presented, and the campus honored a parent volunteer and a teacher whose grant brought the campus $2,000. The board commended an art teacher named the Texas Art Education Association's outstanding National Art Honor Society sponsor and announced the district Christmas card winners. There were no public comments. The consent agenda, approved 5-0, included Policy Update 88 and employment considerations.
