The Aledo ISD Board of Trustees met in special session Feb. 20, 2017, at 6:13 p.m. with President Jay Stringer and Trustees Bobby J. Rigues, Dr. David Tillman and Forrest Collins present. Athletic Director Tim Buchanan presented a Daktronics proposal, and the board discussed selling sponsorships to pay for a new Bearcat Stadium scoreboard. The meeting adjourned at 6:46 p.m.

Eleven action items passed 7-0, including three curriculum purchases, the middle school parking project, custodial and grounds extensions, and the auditor for 2025-2026. Collins, Lear and Tarrant were re-elected as officers.
