Four trustees uphold the administration's Level II decision in a grievance hearing

The vote was 4-0 after one trustee left during the closed session. The minutes do not describe the grievance, and the Ledger does not characterize it.

The Aledo ISD Board of Trustees met in special session Sept. 7, 2017, at 8:33 a.m. with President Jay Stringer, Vice President Hoyt Harris, Secretary Jennifer Loftin and Trustees Bobby J. Rigues and Forrest Collins present. The board heard presentations and rebuttals in a Level III grievance hearing in closed session, then met in executive session from 9:17 to 9:32 a.m. On a motion by Harris seconded by Rigues, it voted 4-0 to uphold the administration's Level II decision; Loftin had left during the executive session. The meeting adjourned at 9:32 a.m.
