Board accepts Superintendent Derek Citty's resignation letter, 6-0, then takes Team of Eight training
The vote came before the seventh trustee arrived. TASB's Kay Douglas and Phil Gore led the training.
The Aledo ISD Board of Trustees met in special session Dec. 12, 2017, at 6:07 p.m. with six trustees present; Dr. David Tillman arrived at 6:12 p.m. On a motion by Jennifer Loftin seconded by Forrest Collins, the board acted on Superintendent Derek Citty's resignation letter, 6-0, the vote taken before Tillman arrived. Kay Douglas and Phil Gore of TASB then conducted Team of Eight training on the board's roles, rights and responsibilities under the Framework for Governance Leadership. The meeting adjourned at 9:24 p.m.
