School board approves a mediation agreement in two TEA special-education dockets

The Aledo ISD Board of Trustees met in special session June 2, 2020, at 5:52 p.m. with all seven trustees present. Superintendent Susan Bohn said the district was starting to plan for summer and fall while awaiting state guidance. After a closed session from 6:07 to 7:35 p.m. with its attorney and on personnel, the board voted 7-0, on a motion by Secretary Forrest Collins seconded by Jessica Brown, to approve the mediation agreement in TEA Docket No. 20-SE-0319 and TEA Docket No. 156-SE-0120 pursuant to IDEA. The meeting adjourned at 7:38 p.m.
