School board denies relief in two Level III grievance appeals and upholds the administration's decisions

The votes were 5-0 and 4-0. The Ledger reports the votes and does not characterize the complaints, which the minutes do not describe.

The Aledo ISD Board of Trustees met in special session June 4, 2025, at 5 p.m. with Trustees Forrest Collins, Hoyt Harris, Zachary Tarrant, Jeremy Pruett and Jim Scott present.

On a Level III grievance hearing for a Level I complaint filed Feb. 13, 2025, the board voted 5-0 to deny the relief requested and uphold the administration's decision at the Level II appeal. Harris left the meeting at 6:19 p.m. On a consolidated Level III hearing covering the Feb. 13, 2025, complaint and a Level I grievance filed April 24, 2025, the board voted 4-0 to deny the relief requested and uphold the administration's Level II decision. Executive session items on personnel, consultation with its attorney, real property and a student matter were posted.
