School board approves Coder Elementary's final design and nominates Bobby Rigues to TASB's board as the Elementary No. 5 site decision slips
Gary Aguillard and Jerry Durant were nominated to the appraisal district board. Every vote was 6-0.
The Aledo ISD Board of Trustees met in special session Nov. 2, 2015, with six trustees present once Hoyt Harris arrived. Superintendent Derek Citty said he hoped to bring a recommendation on Elementary No. 5 to the Nov. 16 meeting. The board approved the final design and exterior elevation for Coder Elementary School, the nomination of Bobby J. Rigues to the TASB board of directors, and the nominations of Gary Aguillard and Jerry Durant to the Parker County Appraisal District board, each 6-0. After an executive session on real property from 6:27 to 7:51 p.m. with no action, Citty said the goal was to give trustees what they needed to decide the school's location by Nov. 16 but that the decision might go past that date. The meeting adjourned at 7:52 p.m.
