The Aledo ISD Board of Trustees met in special session Sept. 7, 2018, at 8:34 a.m. with Vice President Jennifer Loftin, Secretary Forrest Collins and Trustees Bobby J. Rigues and David Lear present. After Rigues summarized the National School Boards Association's Advocacy Institute, he moved to nominate Collins as the board's representative, seconded by Lear; the minutes record no vote count. The meeting adjourned at 8:44 a.m.
