Board nominates Gary Aguillard and Sterling Naron to the appraisal district board and replaces a water-damaged gym floor for up to $102,320
Both votes were 6-0 at an 8 a.m. special meeting.
The Aledo ISD Board of Trustees met in special session Oct. 15, 2019, at 8 a.m. with President Hoyt Harris, Secretary Forrest Collins and Trustees Julie Turner, Jessica Brown, Jennifer Taylor and David Lear present. Gary Aguillard spoke about his role on the Parker County Appraisal District board of directors. On a nomination by Collins, the board approved a resolution nominating Aguillard and Sterling Naron to the appraisal district board, 6-0.
Chief Financial Officer Earl Husfeld and Director of Construction and Facilities Tyler Boswell told the board that water damage had made part of the gym floor at the Aledo Middle School multi-purpose center unsafe for use, and the board accepted Ponder Company, Inc.'s proposal to replace the floor for a not-to-exceed amount of $102,320.00, 6-0. The meeting adjourned at 8:25 a.m.
