Meeting by video, the board affirms the administration's denial of a grievance filed Nov. 30, 2019

The vote was 7-0 after a two-hour closed session. The minutes do not describe the grievance, and the Ledger does not characterize it.

The Aledo ISD Board of Trustees met in special session by video conference May 7, 2020, at 5:08 p.m. with all seven trustees present. There were no public comments, and the board did not take up the standing COVID-19 item. After a closed session from 5:10 to 7:06 p.m. on a Level 3 hearing for a grievance filed Nov. 30, 2019, and consultation with its attorney, the board voted 7-0, on a motion by Secretary Forrest Collins seconded by David Lear, to affirm the administration's decision and deny the grievance appeal and the relief requested. The meeting adjourned at 7:09 p.m.
