The Parker County Commissioners Court met in regular session May 27, 2025. It approved the Old Weatherford Road right-of-way acquisition on a motion by Commissioner Hale seconded by Commissioner Conley.
After a closed session, on motions by Hale seconded by Conley, the court approved market studies for initial offers to acquire property for the widening of the East Bankhead Highway Project from S Ranch House Road to FM 1187: Parcel 9 at 10315 Bankhead Hwy, Parcel 10 at 17 Vernon Rd, Parcel 11 at 10333 E Bankhead Hwy, Parcel 12 at 2 Dean Drive, Parcel 13 at East Bankhead Hwy and Champions Drive, Parcel 14 at 1015 Champions Drive, and Parcel 16 at the southwest corner of E Bankhead Hwy and FM 1187, all in Aledo. Each motion carried.
