Board awards the McAnally Middle School bid to Satterfield & Pontikes and extends COVID-19 emergency paid sick leave
Both votes were 6-0 at a special meeting led by Trustee Jennifer Loftin.
The Aledo ISD Board of Trustees met in special session Jan. 11, 2021, at 5:03 p.m. with Jennifer Loftin presiding in President Hoyt Harris's absence and Trustees Forrest Collins, Julie Turner, Jennifer Taylor and David Lear present; Jessica Brown joined at 5:06 p.m. Superintendent Susan Bohn reviewed recent COVID-19 case numbers and state vaccination regulations.
The board approved the competitive sealed proposal bid from Satterfield & Pontikes Construction, Inc. for the 2019 bond project Middle School No. 2, McAnally Middle School, presented by Chief Financial Officer Earl Husfeld and Director of Construction and Facilities Tyler Boswell, 6-0, and a resolution extending COVID-19 emergency paid sick leave, presented by Executive Director of Human Resources Sherry Taylor, 6-0. After an executive session at 5:17 p.m., the meeting adjourned at 6:03 p.m.
