Aledo ISD Administration Board Room, 1008 Bailey Ranch Road

School board accepts land donations from FG Aledo Development and Quail Valley Land Company and nominates Sterling Naron to the appraisal district board

All three votes were 7-0. The resolutions authorize the superintendent to negotiate and execute the terms.

The Aledo ISD Board of Trustees met in special session Oct. 7, 2024, with all seven trustees present: Forrest Collins, Hoyt Harris, Zachary Tarrant, Jeremy Pruett, Jim Scott, Jennifer Taylor and David Lear.

On items presented by Chief Facilities and Construction Officer Chris Campbell, the board approved Resolution 10072024-1 accepting a donation from FG Aledo Development, LLC, and Resolution 10072024-2 accepting a donation from Quail Valley Land Company, LLC, each authorizing the superintendent to negotiate and execute the related terms and documents, and each 7-0. On an item presented by Chief Financial Officer Earl Husfeld, the board nominated Sterling Naron to the Parker County Appraisal District board of directors, 7-0.
