Board calls the May 2017 trustee election and extends the superintendent's contract by one year after a four-hour evaluation
The extension passed 7-0; the 2017 superintendent goals were postponed again.
The Aledo ISD Board of Trustees met in special session Feb. 7, 2017, at 6:34 p.m. with all seven trustees present once Dr. David Tillman arrived at 6:41. The board approved the calling of the trustee election, 6-0, before Tillman arrived, and postponed approval of the 2017 superintendent goals, 7-0. After an executive session on the superintendent's evaluation and contract from 7:21 to 11:11 p.m., it voted 7-0 to extend the superintendent's contract by one year, and adjourned at 11:12 p.m.
