Trustees review adjusted bond costs for the second middle school, McAnally renovations and CTE additions, and the teacher salary plan

The Aledo ISD Board of Trustees met in special session Aug. 14, 2017, with Vice President Hoyt Harris presiding and Secretary Jennifer Loftin and Trustees Bobby J. Rigues, Julie Turner, Forrest Collins and Dr. David Tillman present. Superintendent Derek Citty introduced the new McCall assistant principal. Citty, Chief Financial Officer Earl Husfeld and Ross Rivers of VLK Architects led a discussion of the 2017 Bond Steering Committee's recommendation with adjusted costs for Middle School No. 2, the McAnally renovations and the CTE additions, and shared bond capacity and 2015 bond expenditure information. Husfeld discussed the 2017-2018 budget and the teacher salary plan. After an executive session from 8:58 to 9:10 p.m. with no action, trustees asked that future agendas always list trustee comments, and the meeting adjourned at 9:20 p.m.
