Three trustees canvass the Nov. 7, 2017, bond election in a two-minute meeting

The canvass passed 3-0; the results themselves are in an attachment the minutes reference but do not reproduce.

The Aledo ISD Board of Trustees met in special session at 9 a.m. Nov. 17, 2017, with President Jay Stringer and Trustees Forrest Collins and Bobby J. Rigues present. Stringer noted that under the Election Code and board policy two members constitute a quorum for canvassing an election. On a motion by Collins seconded by Rigues, the board approved the canvass of the Nov. 7, 2017, bond election results as presented by the administration, 3-0. The results are in an attachment referenced in the minutes but not reproduced in them. The meeting adjourned at 9:02 a.m.
