Five trustees canvass the May 2025 trustee election results from Tarrant and Parker counties

The canvass was approved 5-0.

The Aledo ISD Board of Trustees met in special session May 14, 2025, at 5 p.m. with Trustees Forrest Collins, Hoyt Harris, Jeremy Pruett, David Lear and Jennifer Taylor present.

Chief Financial Officer Earl Husfeld presented the final results of the May 2025 election from both Tarrant County and Parker County, and the board approved the canvass 5-0 on a motion by Taylor, seconded by Collins. A personnel executive session was posted.

Eleven action items passed 7-0, including three curriculum purchases, the middle school parking project, custodial and grounds extensions, and the auditor for 2025-2026. Collins, Lear and Tarrant were re-elected as officers.
