Commissioners Court approves an FM 1187 design amendment and an initial offer for a Woodridge Drive parcel on the FM 5 project

After a closed session that ran from 10:30 to 11:35 a.m., the court took up property at 10333 E Bankhead Hwy, Aledo, and voted, on a motion by Hale seconded by Commissioner Walden, to approve the appraisal for the initial offer on a parcel at 1453 Woodridge Drive, Aledo, for the reconstruction of the FM 5 project at Bankhead Highway. Items on the county justice center and jail, county real estate and the county website were posted with no action.

In its Aug. 19, 2025, budget session, the Parker County Commissioners Court heard the Aledo Public Library's FY26 budget request and approved the requested $22,770.00 on a motion by Commissioner Hale seconded by Commissioner Walden. Commissioners Court approves an Old Weatherford Road change order, moves to condemn a Hudson Oaks parcel for the Oakridge project, and approves Prairie Creek Business Park

On property at 613 N Oakridge Drive, Hudson Oaks, the court voted, on a motion by Commissioner Holt seconded by Commissioner Walden, that there is a public need and necessity for the roadway, that the county's offer to purchase had not produced an agreement, and that the county should proceed with condemnation efforts.
