Bearcats state titles, from the minutes

Checked against the source Sunday, September 6, 2026

Every state championship, medal and cup the school board or city council recorded in its minutes, 2013 to 2026: the football program's 10th title in 2020 and 12th in 2023 as the superintendent counted them, three baseball titles through June 2026, the 2014 softball and baseball double, the 2024-25 Lone Star Cup and the 2025-26 Texas Cup, and every Bearcat Stadium vote. Compiled from the Ledger's meeting reports, checked Sept. 6, 2026.

How many state football titles does Aledo have?

The Ledger counts only what the minutes state. On March 22, 2021 the board commended the 2020 team as Class 5A Division II state champions and the district's 10th state title; on Dec. 18, 2023 Superintendent Susan Bohn called that season's championship the program's 12th. The 2025 team was commended as Class 5A Division I bronze medalists on Jan. 20, 2026. Seasons the minutes do not describe as championships are not counted here, whatever other sources say.
